Family Update #18 (June15/07)

Well, Jayde is growing better then either of her brothers did! I had her weighed on June 5, and se was already 9lbs 7oz!! Hunter was only 15lbs when he was 7 months! And she's starting to smile when people play with her, give her attention, or call her a "Pretty Girl"!! Yes, she knows when you call her a pretty girl and LOVES it!
Hunter is officially going to the Tevie Miller Hertiage School/Society. It's a special school for kids like Hunter with speech and language delays/disorders that are average to above average intelligence. ( I believe Hunter is the second one of course!) It's a regular school except for the special focus on speecha and language.
Will is talking up a storm!!! Everone can understand at least 75% of what he's saying and it's usually very important to him so GOD FORBID if you're not listening!! hehehe

Family Update #17 (April 22/07)

Jayde is here! Jayde Kathleen Marie Langille was born April 5/07 at 8:25am. She was 7lbs even, and was 52.5 cm long. She has red hair like William and has an attitude (already!) like Hunter. (Boy, are Mike and I in trouble!) Hunter and Will have definitly taken a shining to her already. The boys (all 3 of them!) are infatuated with her already. And thankfully, Will hasn't shown too much jealousy towards her, I think because I try to make sure that I still spend some time playing with him everyday while she's sleeping. Otherwise, life isn't TOO different from before I was pregnant with her. Yes, we now have 3 kids instead of two, but I'm enjoying it alot.
The update regarding Hunter and his school situation is that he officially has a disorder, not just a delay. This is because even though his skills go all the way up to what a 7 year old would have, he's scattered at what he can and cannot do. It's hard to explain more then that.
But, Jayde is "calling", gotta go!

Family Update #16 (March 27/07)

Well, baby will be here in just over a week and Mikey and I are getting excited! He started talking about getting the baby's room ready! He won't outright admit it, but he's excited to get a daughter! She is so gonna be "Daddy's Little Girl". He already told me that she won't be able to any wrong in his eyes.
The boys are doing great. Hunter's teachers say he will be ready for Grade 1 with little to no problems. Will is saying a new word everyday! He's not gonna have the speech delay that Hunter has. I can almost have full conversations with him already!  When the baby comes, I think Willy-Man is gonna have more jealousy issues then Hunter, that's for sure. But, I've been trying to carry around a doll wrapped in a blanket and holding a friend's baby to see how he reacts and it seems so far, so good. But, he's also very smart and knows the difference between someone else's baby and/or a doll. I guess we'll find out in 8 days.
But, that's it for now. There'll be more after Jayde is here, and I'm holding her in my arms as I type! hehehe
